Anti-Spam Policy
Learning needs attention, and attention is easily lost to an inbox full of noise. We do not let course mail become part of that noise, and we end the cooperation with any provider who tries.
Ground rules
- Course mail goes only to people who enrolled in that course and confirmed their address.
- Learner lists of one provider are never made available to another provider or to partners.
- Providers explain how they recruit learners before their first course is set up with us.
- We do not accept providers who obtain addresses from lead sellers or giveaways run by third parties.
Breaches
- Enrolling people in a course they never chose.
- Turning a finished course into an endless sales sequence.
- Disguising advertising as a lesson or an exercise.
- Making it hard to leave a course or the newsletter.
Investigating a report
- Each report is confirmed; the headers lead us to the provider and the course concerned.
- If the report appears justified, the course sequence is paused until the matter is settled.
- A confirmed breach ends our contract with the provider, and the address receives no further mail through us.
- Blocklist operators receive the information they need on request.
